November Meetup – RIVR Autumn Film Festival

Movie Night at AS220 with RIVR! We’ll bring the VR equipment and short movies and you bring yourself. Guests welcome. FOO(d) and bar next door.
RIVR is excited to feature four VR films at its VR Autumn Mini-Film Festival at AS220.
Join us November 29th as we demonstrate the films in VR during consecutive time slots. Guests will be provided headsets to use for the demonstration.

FEATURED FILMS
1. Parched –
This short film by recent Brown U alum Adam Hresko follows a young couple that becomes stranded in the desert. Don’t worry about getting thirsty watching this though, AS220 has plenty of drinks for everyone.
2. The Party –
The Guardian presents a video about a party through the perspective of someone on the autism spectrum. “Hear her inner thoughts and experience how overwhelming an occasion like this can be for her.”
3. Mad God –
I mean, really, who doesn’t enjoy being surrounded by hoards of unearthly creatures waiting for your inevitable demise?
4. 360° Great Hammerhead Shark Encounter –
Swim with the graceful predators of the ocean in this short film from National Geographic. Rhode Island’s Steer Digital Media provided key support for this film.
